RESEARCH & TREND FORECASTING

For fostering fashion that sits on par with global trends, teams of designers work closely in the U.S. and Canada. These fashion development teams collect research from retail environments and forecasting houses in New York, Paris and Milan. Once their ideas are in motion, they work closely with trims and notions to oversee the evolution of their efforts, guaranteeing their original vision of cut, texture, quality and style succeed in our niche categories.

TEXTILE DEVELOPMENT

Involved with the research and development fabrics, the textile team continually gathers and applies new fabric knowledge. They take initiative in sourcing available fabrics and emerging technologies, as well as experimenting with fabrics for a thorough knowledge of performance benefits, including shrinkage percentages and color standards. Once these evaluations are completed, the textile division presents the information in an online library, accessible to Mondetta Runway Global’s offices and sales departments worldwide. We work closely in partnership with international mills to develop superior and innovative fabrics.

TECHNICAL PRODUCTION

A specially trained technical production team oversees all aspects of garment and trim manufacturing from the earliest specification outlines to the first inspection and final approval of samples. They are an integral liaison between our design teams and factories, communicating regularly with fit specialists to ensure the painstakingly detailed process of garment and trim manufacturing is as fluid as it is exact.

TRIMS & NOTIONS

Quality and distinction is especially important when production touches on the smaller details. Mondetta's trims and notions division celebrates an eye for the fine points, executing the development and adaptation of new labels, zipper pulls, zippers, buttons and other particulars. Quality control in these specific areas of manufacturing are closely monitored, and research is regularly applied to an online library for instant access from any one of our offices.
